Then you've found your home. Deinonychus Editions is a publishing imprint for authors who write the books we can't stop thinking about.
We are seeking works that have the ripping energy of pulp adventure and the thoughtful soul of literary fiction. Our passion is finding stories where the mythic endures in the shifting terrains of memory, self, and identity.

If you have written a novel, a story collection, a graphic novel, or even art and essays that explore the cosmic, the beautiful, and the monstrous all at once, we invite you to share your work with us.

By submitting your work to Deinonychus Editions, you agree to the following conditions:

Original Authorship (No AI): The submitted work must be entirely your own original creation. We will not consider any work generated in whole or substantial part by Artificial Intelligence (AI) software, large language models (LLMs), or similar automated tools. Having said that, we acknowledge that LLMs and other automated tools have value for writers for editing/revision assistance, prompts, research, etc., and consider such usage totally acceptable and no different from consulting experts, spell-checkers, or grammar software.

Exclusivity: Your work must be previously unpublished (in print or online, including self-published works, blogs, or social media). Simultaneous submissions are permitted, but you must notify us immediately if your work is accepted elsewhere.

No Guarantee: Submission of a manuscript or proposal does not guarantee publication or a response. Response times will vary based on submission volume.

No Implied Relationship: Submitting your work does not create a confidential, contractual, or fiduciary relationship between you and Deinonychus Editions beyond the terms of these guidelines.

No Expectation of Compensation: You acknowledge that you are submitting your material voluntarily, and that you have no expectation of compensation or payment unless a formal, written publishing contract is offered and executed by both parties.
